Job Purpose:
Oversee and manage all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials that meet the company’s standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Manage transportation providers and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost control.

Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels.

Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations, safety, and quality standards.

Analyze logistics data and prepare reports to improve performance and resolve bottlenecks.

Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics with company goals.

Lead, train, and develop logistics staff to enhance team performance.

Monitor budgets, expenses, and forecast logistics costs effectively.

Handle customs clearance and documentation for imports and exports when required.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
