Logistics Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing Bitcoin mining and infrastructure company focused on operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation. We operate multiple sites and manage a large fleet of mining hardware across the U.S. We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics, Procurement, and Inventory Manager to help streamline operations, optimize costs, and ensure full visibility into all company assets.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Tracking: Maintain a live, accurate record of all company assets — including ASICs, transformers, containers, and electrical infrastructure. Track serial numbers, locations, and operational status across all sites.
• Inventory Management: Ensure the ASIC inventory database is always up to date. Identify shortages or discrepancies and coordinate procurement to maintain target inventory levels.
• Procurement Coordination: Manage purchasing for all hardware and infrastructure needs. Obtain quotes, compare vendors, and negotiate for better pricing and delivery terms.
• Logistics Oversight: Coordinate all shipments (inbound and outbound) of equipment between sites, vendors, and clients. Ensure timely, cost-effective, and damage-free delivery of assets.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously evaluate shipping methods, vendors, and logistics providers to improve delivery speed and reduce costs. Explore potential to bring logistics functions in-house where beneficial.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain organized shipment records, packing lists, invoices, and customs documents (if applicable). Ensure all asset movements are logged and auditable.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Finance teams to align asset tracking and purchasing with deployment schedules and budgets.
• Process Improvement: Develop and refine systems to automate tracking, streamline purchasing, and enhance overall operational visibility.
• Vendor Relations: Build strong relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and equipment vendors to improve service reliability and pricing.
• Qualifications3+ years experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (experience in data centers, energy, or Bitcoin mining is a plus).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory tracking software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors.
• Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
