Job Title: Logistic Manager-Railway / Metro Infrastructure

Job Rule:

1. Be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management for the Dubai Metro EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project, including the procurement of engineering materials, international/local logistics and transportation, warehousing scheduling, and on-site delivery coordination, to ensure that material supply aligns with the project schedule.

2. Be responsible for the design and implementation of logistics solutions for engineering projects, coordinate with logistics service providers (such as freight forwarders, transporters, etc.), optimize transportation routes and warehouse layouts, and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of large/special railway equipment.

3. Oversee the end-to-end customs import and export operations, including the preparation of customs declaration documents, handling of customs clearance procedures, tariff calculation, and compliance filing, to ensure that the import and export of materials comply with UAE customs policies and project compliance requirements.

4. Establish and manage the supplier network (including logistics providers, warehousing providers, material suppliers, etc.), conduct supplier evaluation, negotiation, and collaboration optimization, and build long-term and stable supply chain partnerships.

5. Take charge of supply chain cost control, formulate logistics cost budgets, analyze the cost structure (such as transportation fees, customs clearance fees, warehousing fees, etc.), and reduce the total supply chain cost through process optimization and negotiation.

6. Identify supply chain risks (such as logistics delays, customs clearance disruptions, supplier performance deviations, etc.), develop risk response plans, and promptly resolve emergent issues during the supply chain performance process.

7. Utilize office software (such as Excel, PPT, etc.) and logistics management systems (such as SAP, ERP, etc.) to complete supply chain data statistics, report preparation, and real-time tracking of logistics information, and issue supply chain operation analysis reports.

Qualification & Experience

1. Have at least 10 years of work experience in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

2. Familiar with logistics management for engineering projects, and possess experience in EPC project logistics management.

3. Familiar with customs import and export procedures as well as customs clearance operations, with relevant work experience in this field.

4. Hold a bachelor’s degree or above; majors in logistics, supply chain management, engineering management or related fields are preferred.

5. Possess good coordination, communication and negotiation skills, and be able to effectively manage suppliers and conduct cross-departmental collaboration.

6. Have capabilities in logistics cost control, risk management and problem-solving.

7. Proficient in using office software and logistics management systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP, ERP).
