Logistics Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including inventory management, warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and procurement. Your expertise will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless order fulfillment across our distribution network. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Manage warehouse operations including receiving, picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate transportation management activities such as freight planning, fleet management, dispatching, and working with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor shipments, optimize routes, and improve delivery timelines.
• Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, and category management to secure the best value for materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to forklift operation, materials handling equipment (CMMS), and warehouse safety protocols.
• Manage demand planning using supply chain analytics to forecast needs accurately and align inventory levels accordingly.
• Oversee order fulfillment processes including order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) arrangements for international freight.

Experience

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a focus on logistics operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in inventory management systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), AS400 or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and demand planning tools.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping & receiving procedures, category management, and procurement practices.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics workflows including packaging optimization and order picking strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data using supply chain analytics tools for continuous process improvement.
• Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and overseeing fleet or dispatching operations is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain fields are a plus; strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role. Pay: $49,065.06 - $59,089.11 per year
