Job Summary

The Logistics Manager (Inbound/Outbound) is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods. The role focuses on optimizing transportation, warehouse coordination, documentation accuracy, and compliance with safety and operational SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
• Ensure timely movement of stock from godown to shop floor and from warehouse to stores.
• Monitor and maintain vehicle Turnaround Time (TAT) to improve logistics efficiency.
• Optimize transportation routes, fleet utilization, and logistics costs.
• Utilize labour resources effectively to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods as per delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with courier and transport partners for on-time deliveries.
• Ensure all gate entries, vehicle movements, and LR entries are recorded in real time.
• Maintain proper documentation, including LR, GRN, GRC, invoices, dispatch notes, and delivery challans.
• Prepare and maintain logistics reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
• Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company SOPs and statutory requirements.
• Handle escalations related to delays, damages, shortages, or delivery issues.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and tight timelines
• Good analytical and cost-optimization skills
• Strong coordination and vendor management abilities
• Proficiency in MIS reporting and documentation
• Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (preferred)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Experience in retail / FMCG / warehouse operations preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
