Logistics Manager – Shipping Experience

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager with strong shipping and supply chain expertise to oversee end-to-end logistics operations, freight coordination, warehouse movement, and international shipping activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of UAE logistics procedures, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and transportation management.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage daily logistics and shipping operations efficiently.

· Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs agents.

· Handle import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.

· Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and inventory movement.

· Negotiate freight rates and logistics contracts with vendors.

· Ensure compliance with UAE shipping regulations and company policies.

· Track shipment status and resolve delays or operational issues.

· Supervise warehouse coordination and transportation planning.

· Prepare logistics reports, cost analysis, and operational updates.

· Improve supply chain efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

· 5–10 years of logistics/shipping experience in the UAE.

· Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs regulations.

· Experience working with shipping companies and freight forwarding operations.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred

· Experience in retail, trading, or distribution companies.

· Knowledge of international freight operations (Air/Sea/Land).
