Logistics Officer

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Job Purpose:
To manage, prepare, review, and administer contracts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and project specifications while safeguarding the company’s financial and contractual interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and subcontracts.
  • Ensure that contract terms comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure all obligations are met on time and within budget.
  • Manage change orders, variations, and amendments.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and correspondence.
  • Liaise with project managers, legal teams, and finance departments to resolve contractual issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports on contract status and risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
  • Proven experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and other industry-standard forms.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
