Duties & responsibilities:

Logistics Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and implement logistics plans to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to manage logistics operations effectively.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure availability and minimize shortages.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and update records accurately.

Transportation Management:

  • Oversee the scheduling and tracking of shipments, ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Resolve transportation-related issues, such as delays or damaged goods, promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
  • Generate reports to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and enforce procedures to secure goods during transportation and storage.

Problem-Solving and Optimization:

  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize costs and improve logistics workflows.

Supplier and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for logistics services.

Minimum level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management
