Role Overview

He/ She is responsible to govern KSA logistics and have full awareness of SABER activities. Th incumbent will be responsible for Monitoring and Control / processing of the Import shipments/ forwarders & transport nominations. Record proof of deliver control & responsible for land transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Pricing of Approved freight Forwarders.
• Nomination of the forwarder and update the PO owner about status within 2 working days.
• Follow up all Logistics issues (incoming and outgoing) and avoid delays in clearance.
• Utilization of our own trucks and avoid outsourcing trucks and demurrage at the same time.
• On time submission of Freight Invoices (7 Working Days) and Solve the dispute within 10 working days.
• Controls the Placement and rates of Transporter, ensures truck availability.
• Proof of Delivery controls.
• Provides Weekly forecast delivery plan to Supply Chain.
• Coordination with clearing agent and resolve the issues on time.
• Conduct Logistics Training to the Team
• Follow up and highlight the pending documents from bank.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Import process & Custom Clearance

Skills & Experience

• 3-to-5-year experience in a similar role.
• Documentation and Control.
• Shipment issues resolution.
• Ability to prioritize and act with a sense of urgency, and work independently.
• With KSA Driving License
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
