Logistics Operations Senior Specialist

Job Description

• Organize and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipment processes, including land, air, and sea transportation,
• Communicate with freight companies and carriers to ensure shipments are delivered on time and in full,
• Manage import and export operations, including the preparation and follow-up of required documentation and operational processes,
• Process incoming purchase orders in the system, verify order accuracy, and ensure timely shipment,
• Resolve issues related to shipment delays, product shortages, or operational disruptions by coordinating with relevant departments,
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of logistics operations,
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures regarding shipment, receiving, and inventory management processes,
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation related to all logistics operations,
• Manage relationships with suppliers, freight companies, and logistics service providers,
• Conduct price negotiations and supplier discussions to secure cost-effective transportation and logistics solutions,
• Provide fast and effective solutions to logistics-related issues during operations and take preventive actions against recurring problems,
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure continuity and efficiency in supply chain operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations and supply chain management,
• Experience in sea, land, and air transportation operations,
• Knowledge and experience in import, export, transportation, and logistics processes,
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills,
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities,
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage time effectively,
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and process follow-up,
• Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments,
• Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously with strong follow-up and prioritization skills.
• Advanced written and verbal English skills
