Logistics Senior Executive

We are a growing solar distribution company in the Middle East, setting up our own warehouse facility in Abu Dhabi to manage solar equipment stock and offer warehouse space to third-party industries. We are seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager who can build, manage, and optimize warehouse and logistics operations from scratch.

The ideal candidate must have strong UAE trading experience, hands-on exposure to warehouse setup, logistics operations, and local compliance, and the ability to manage both internal inventory and external client storage operations.

Salary - 6000 AED
Location - Abu Dhabi
Minimum 1 yr UAE experience is required
Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Setup & Operations

• Set up warehouse operations from scratch including layout planning, racking systems, storage allocation, and SOPs .
  

• Ensure efficient storage and handling of solar panels, inverters, batteries, cables, and accessories .
  

• Manage daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and dispatch .
  

• Implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability .
  

  
  

Logistics & Distribution

• Manage local and regional logistics including coordination with transporters and freight partners.
  

• Oversee delivery scheduling to ensure timely dispatch to customers and project sites .
  

• Handle documentation related to trading, shipping, and deliveries within the UAE.
  

• Optimize transportation costs and improve delivery efficiency.
  

  
  

Trading & Compliance (UAE Experience Mandatory)

• Ensure compliance with UAE trading regulations, customs procedures, and documentation .
  

• Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
  

• Manage import/export logistics if required (especially for solar equipment).
  

  
  

Third-Party Warehousing (Space Leasing)

• Manage storage space leased to other industries/clients .
  

• Allocate space, manage contracts, and ensure proper billing for warehouse usage.
  

• Ensure third-party inventory is handled as per agreed SLAs and safety standards.
  

  
  

Team & Vendor Management

• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff (storekeepers, helpers, drivers if any).
  

• Coordinate with vendors for racking, forklifts, equipment, and maintenance services .
  

• Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
  

  
  

Reporting & Cost Control

• Prepare regular reports on inventory, logistics costs, space utilization, and operational performance .
  

• Monitor operational expenses and ensure warehouse activities remain within budget.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management in the UAE.
  

• Mandatory experience in a trading company , preferably in solar, electrical, construction, or industrial products.
  

• Proven experience in setting up warehouse operations from scratch .
  

• Strong knowledge of UAE logistics, transportation, and trading regulations .
  

• Experience handling bulk and high-value inventory .
  

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory controls.
  

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  

• Ability to manage multi-industry warehousing operations.
