Job Overview
PTTR Load Board is seeking a dynamic and logistics-savvy Logistics Social Media Specialist to amplify our brand presence across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes trucking, freight, and logistics—and knows how to translate that expertise into compelling, high-impact content.

You’ll be responsible for crafting platform-specific campaigns, engaging with our carrier and broker communities, and driving brand awareness through strategic storytelling. Duties

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with PTTR’s brand goals and logistics audience
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok
  • Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and Google Workspace to design graphics and short-form videos—no Adobe required
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and freight news to inform content direction
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build rapport with carriers, brokers, and shippers
  • Collaborate with outreach and public relations teams to maintain consistent messaging
  • Stay current on social media algorithms, SEO practices, and keyword strategies relevant to logistics
  • Support platform growth by integrating social media efforts with onboarding and outreach campaigns
  • Proofread all content for clarity, tone, and compliance with PTTR’s brand standards
  • Handle sensitive communications professionally, including crisis or reputation management situations

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry
  • —must understand carrier-broker dynamics, load boards, and freight terminology
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts with a portfolio of successful campaigns
  • Proficiency in non-Adobe tools like Canva, CapCut, Google Slides, and other browser-based design platforms
  • Strong grasp of SEO, branding, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.)
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager and other paid campaign platforms
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for tone and professionalism
  • Ability to interpret engagement data and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Experience in video editing or photography is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with logistics professionals and internal teams
  • Passion for digital storytelling and a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends

Job Type: Part-time
