Job Type: 12-month W2 Hourly Contract (potential to extend/convert)
Compensation Range: up to $50/hr

On behalf of our financial services client, we are seeking a Senior Associate, Social Content Producer to join their Social Media team in New York.

As one of the most followed financial brands, our client communicates with millions of social media users across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter. As a Senior Associate your work will support video and multimedia production needs across the business, contributing as a key member of the Social Media team, creating social-first videos, animations, motion graphics and other multimedia assets for our external channels.

You will be responsible for producing engaging and compelling content to communicate key messages and align with brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects operate smoothly and contribute to Social strategy.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about producing impactful human-interest content. This individual should be highly creative, driven by curiosity and have a knack for storytelling. Strong verbal and visual communication skills are required, in addition to being able to collaborate with team members and create materials that reflect communication objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce, shoot, script and edit original video content for social platforms.
  • Manage publishing videos to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.
  • Work directly with the Social Content team to establish video strategy across social channels.
  • Develop and pitch video concepts that drive the brand forward creatively.
  • Ensure project goals are met; manage stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Analyze video performance data to help inform decisions around future content series.
  • Consult with teams across CCB to provide guidance on videos for conferences, recruiting, senior leader meetings, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience creating compelling video content in a similar role (e.g. news, television, agency, corporate environment).
  • Strong production skills including DSLR videography, audio recording and knowledge of various lighting techniques.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition required; Animate, Character Animator, Illustrator, Photoshop is a plus.
  • Proven track record managing the video production process through the development and ideation, pre-production, production, post-production, and promotion/distribution phases.
  • Strong understanding of video formats and best practices for web and digital applications.
  • Knowledge of copyright clearance, trademark, intellectual property licensing and fair use.

Preferred Requirements:

  • MacBook with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Animation, storyboarding, and still photography expertise is a plus.
  • Technology or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Communications or similar discipline preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Experience developing visual content for various social platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong design aesthetic in composition, typography, and color usage.
  • Very strong interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working on tight deadlines and able to respond well to changing priorities.
