Logistics Specialist

Allyn International is currently looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our organization!

Our core products include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and customs compliance.

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing export logistics activities to meet business fulfilment requirements while driving transportation cost reduction. This role involves coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance, supporting projects and services, and providing logistics consulting to secure the best possible transportation modes and rates.

Responsibilities:

• Route cargo in compliance with legal and customer requirements.
• Coordinate routing and export clearance processes.
• Take proactive responsibility for issue resolution and shipment management.
• Provide subject matter expertise in logistics and transportation.
• Actively use Allyn Logistics Application (ALA) and SAP for operations.
• Communicate effectively with freight forwarders, shippers, consignees, clients, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, including permits, over-dimensional, and hazardous cargo.
• Monitor and track shipments, keeping clients informed on status.
• Capture and manage all shipment-related costs.
• Identify and capture opportunities for cost savings and added value.
• Update milestones on the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Deliver excellent customer service to Allyn customers.

Education & Requirements

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Secondary school or university degree (specialization in Logistics preferred).
• 2–7 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on handling international shipments.
• Knowledge of KSA export operations (preferred, not mandatory).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong stress resistance and problem-solving skills.
