Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The role is responsible for overseeing the company’s supply chain operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of logistics processes in the UAE, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and coordination with shipping lines and transporters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve delays, and provide regular status updates.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, customs declarations, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs and international trade regulations.
• Optimize logistics costs by negotiating with service providers and monitoring freight rates.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and sales teams for timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics-related expenses.
• Support the team in planning and forecasting logistics requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in heavy machinery or trading companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and/or Chinese is an advantage.
