Logistics Supervisor

We are currently looking for a “Logistics Supervisor” to join the Zoomlion family at our Istanbul Tuzla office .

Key Responsibilities

1. Team & Process Supervision

• Supervise daily import and logistics operations,
• Lead and mentor logistics team members to ensure efficient workflow,
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as required.

2. Import Management

• Oversee import documentation and customs clearance processes,
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies,
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers,
• Monitor timelines to ensure on-time delivery of imported goods.

3. Logistics Operations

• Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities,
• Optimize routes, schedules, and resource utilization for operational efficiency,
• Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management,
• Resolve operational issues related to delays or disruptions.

4. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and internal procedures,
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs,
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in English is a must,
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in International Trade, International Logistics, Logistics, International Relations, or Business Administration),
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sea import operations is required ; experience in export and customs operations is preferred,
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with agents and freight forwarders,
• Strong knowledge of freight quotation processes for import and export operations,
• Extensive experience in sea import processes; knowledge of road and air transportation is an advantage,
• Solid understanding of foreign trade delivery and payment terms (Incoterms, etc.) is a must,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP MM or IFS is preferred,
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a structured manner,
• Proven problem-solving skills and sound decision-making ability,
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and reporting skills,
• Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills,
• No travel restrictions,
• Ability to adapt to flexible working hours when required,
• Holder of a Class B driver’s license with active driving capability,
• For male candidates, completion or postponement of military service.
