Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:


The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The role ensures timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards while leading a team and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise daily logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities

  • Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods

  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock control processes

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments

  • Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

  • Track shipments and resolve any delays or operational issues

  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and KPIs

  • Lead, train, and support logistics team members

  • Ensure proper documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

  • 10–15 years of experience in logistics / supply chain operations

  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes

  • Experience in team supervision and operational coordination

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Good communication skills (English & Arabic preferred)

  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems/ERP
