Logistics Supervisor(Construction)

· Demonstrate responsibility for implementation of HSE requirements for personnel under their control;

· Co-ordination with local authorities for any relevant permits, NOCs,’s etc.;

· Ensure the welfare, sanitary facilities at the site are maintained according to Main Contractor and Welfare requirements;

· Ensure all vehicles, equipment, and machinery at site have the correct valid documents by Third Party authorities, validity is maintained and meets Main Contractor and DF HSE requirements;

· Ensure all operators have and valid third-party certificates for the plant they operate;

· Third party re- inspections are arranged whenever necessary;

· Ensure all electricians working for temporary services have competency certificate;

· Ensure all vehicles/equipment/machinery undergoing preventive maintenance and daily inspections. Records to be kept;

· Ensure all general stores are set up in a safe and accessible location;

· Ensure all chemicals are stored separately as per Main Contractor requirements and Client HSE Regulations / Code of Practices;
Proper arrangement of Chemical Storage area / Diesel

· Ensure waste materials are segregated and disposed of regularly as per Waste Management Plan;

Ensure compliance to Waste Collection, Segregation, and Disposal as per TADWEER regulations;

· Ensure the Traffic Management plan is in place, communicated and adhered to;

· Ensure monthly inspections for Plant Equipment are undertaken and records maintained ;

· Ensure the project is protected by suitable fencing and security is maintained to prevent unauthorized entry of the public, possible intruders or children onto the site;

· Attend and contribute to the Safety Committee Meeting;

· Liaise with the HSE Department;

The Educational Qualifications include a basic degree with previous experience working as a Logistics In charge or Supervisor for any Contractor companies in UAE preferable in a Main Contractor work environment. Minimum 3 Years of experience would be better
