Logistics Supevisor(Events & Exhibition Industry Only)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to manage and supervise logistics and transportation operations for events and exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in fleet management, driver supervision, and site coordination within the events and exhibitions industry.

This role is critical to ensuring the timely movement of materials, equipment, and manpower for installations and dismantling across UAE event sites.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Planning & Coordination

• Plan and supervise daily and weekly logistics activities for events, exhibitions, installations, and dismantling.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, installation, and operations teams to meet project schedules.
• Prepare transportation plans based on site location, timelines, manpower, and materials.

Driver & Team Management

• Supervise drivers and logistics staff.
• Prepare daily driver schedules, routes, and trip plans.
• Conduct daily briefings covering safety, routes, and job priorities.
• Monitor driver attendance, performance, and discipline.

Transportation & Fleet Management

• Ensure company vehicles are available, roadworthy, and ready for operations.
• Coordinate third-party transport when required.
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, fines, damages, and maintenance.
• Schedule regular vehicle inspections and servicing as per UAE regulations.

Documentation & ERP Reporting

• Maintain daily logistics logs, driver timesheets, and trip tickets.
• Update ERP or tracking systems with vehicle, manpower, and material movement.
• Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

Site & Materials Coordination

• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Share site locations, access details, and contact information with drivers.
• Coordinate closely with installation teams during loading, unloading, installation, and dismantling.

Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Track transportation activities and resolve delays or breakdowns promptly.
• Escalate critical issues to management with solutions.
• Implement contingency plans for vehicle shortages or schedule changes.

End-of-Day Responsibilities

• Review daily logistics performance and completed trips.
• Prepare next-day logistics schedules.
• Ensure vehicles, records, and documentation are properly secured and updated.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 4–5 years of logistics supervision experience in the events & exhibitions industry.
• Strong experience in fleet management, driver supervision, and site coordination.
• ERP or logistics tracking system experience is mandatory.

Education

• ITI / Diploma / Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

Skills

• Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of UAE roads, venues, and logistics regulations.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

Additional Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
