Logistics Support Specialist – (Evening & Night Shift)

Full job description

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating daily transportation and delivery operations. This role ensures drivers are assigned on time, pickup schedules are maintained, and deliveries are executed efficiently between vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage real-time logistics communication through internal call systems.
• Assign drivers to pickup and delivery tasks based on schedules and availability.
• Monitor order flow, ensuring timely pickups from stores and on-time customer deliveries.
• Coordinate with vendors, stores, and drivers to resolve any operational delays or issues.
• Track delivery progress and update stakeholders as needed.
• Escalate operational challenges to supervisors and maintain accurate logs of activities.
• Ensure service-level targets and performance metrics are met.

Requirements

• Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation coordination, or support roles preferred.
• Strong communication skills, especially in outbound support environments.
• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume operational workflows.
• Basic understanding of driver management, routing, and delivery processes.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
