We are looking for a “ Logistics Team Leader ” to join our team at our Istanbul central office, bringing positive energy and contributing to our strength.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduated from relevant departments of universities (Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration),
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the related field,
• Experience in team management,
• Excellent command of English,
• Advanced and active user of SAP and MS Office applications,
• Ability to manage and report processes with a holistic perspective,
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, communication, time management, reporting skills; collaborative and with strong representation ability,
• Innovative, creative, and solution-oriented,
• Research-oriented, result-driven, and dynamic personality,
• Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Follow up TSE/TAREKS application processes carried out with the customs brokerage company and ensure the accuracy of all required documents.
• Manage end-to-end (E2E) import operations from the shipment departure to the transfer of goods to the bonded warehouse.
• Execute and monitor all stock movements through SAP and supervise the team accordingly.
• Manage all bonded warehouse and local warehouse operational movements of the products.
• Ensure accurate and timely data flow by maintaining strong collaboration with Finance / Procurement / Planning departments.
• Manage invoicing, documentation, and customs procedures for export, transit, and Free Zone operations.
• Manage payment schedules related to imports and provide timely updates to the finance team for payment periods.
• Prepare bonded warehouse stock data for payment lists, tax lists, monthly cost reports, and withdrawal plans, and share them with relevant teams.
• Conduct estimated cost calculations for withdrawal files.
• Carry out freight research based on internal customer requests and manage communication with carriers.
• Ensure operational coordination with bonded warehouses, forwarders, and logistics companies.
• Manage the operations team, assign tasks, and monitor process performance.
• Conduct the YYS (Authorized Economic Operator) preparation process together with the consultancy firm and prepare for the audit.
• Ensure timely submission of supplier invoices to the management for digital approval.
• Perform tariff and legislation checks and update powers of attorney with the customs brokerage company prior to the new year.
• Follow up contracts and monitor price increases for third-party service providers.
