Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician
Atlanta, GA (Warehouse / Logistics Environment)
$23–$24/hr (DOE) + Overtime Opportunities
1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Are you an experienced maintenance technician ready to take the lead? In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting complex issues, keeping operations running, and supporting a team of technicians in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Start your shift reviewing work orders and prioritizing repairs

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or facility issues across the building

Jump in on urgent breakdowns to get operations back up quickly

Lead and support other technicians on repairs and projects

Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
-
Coordinate with operations, vendors, or contractors as needed

Wrap up by documenting completed work and planning next steps

Conveyor systems and warehouse equipment
-
Motors, pumps, compressors, and drive systems
-
Electrical panels, wiring, and control systems
-
HVAC systems and building infrastructure
-
Plumbing systems and general facility maintenance
Tools & Technology:
-
Multimeters, voltmeters, and diagnostic tools
-
Hand tools, power tools, and precision tools
-
CMMS/work order systems
-
Building automation or control systems (BAS/PLC – a plus)
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across the facility

Lead complex repairs and support installations or upgrades
-
Oversee preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
-
Mentor and support junior technicians on the team

Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime

Ensure all work meets safety standards (OSHA, LOTO, etc.)

Track maintenance work, parts, and repairs in the system
Requirements:
-
5+ years of maintenance experience (warehouse, industrial, or logistics preferred)

Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical systems)

Experience working with conveyors, motors, and facility systems
-
Previous leadership or mentoring experience

Comfortable using tools, diagnostics, and maintenance systems (CMMS)

Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, LOTO)

Ability to work independently and lead when needed

Active warehouse setting with hands-on, physical work
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in tight spaces

Occasional overtime or emergency response as needed
