Description:
This job will be coverage for a 2nd grade regular education classroom from
October 2026 through January 2027
. Collaboration and teamwork are integral parts of the job. Expectations include working with other teachers and staff to best meet the needs of students. Experience with children with a variety of developmental needs preferred. Experience with, or knowledge of Math In Focus, Units of Study in Reading and Writing, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, and Social/Emotional Learning are preferred.
Qualifications

Maine Department of Education Elementary Teacher Certification.

Current fingerprinting (CHRC) Classroom teacher experience required.

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
