POSITION: Long Term Sub - Special Education Teacher (1.0)

SCHOOL: Newtown Middle School

STARTING DATE: November 3, 2025 – November 25, 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide direct instruction to students requiring special education 

Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals

 Provide consultation services to regular education staff

 Training/certification in Wilson Reading System is preferred.

REMUNERATION:  Daily Rate: $274.47

QUALIFICATIONS:  Connecticut Certification as a Special Education Teacher
