LOCATION: Jr./Sr. High School

SALARY:

Uncertified Substitute Teacher: $125 / day
Certified Substitute Teacher: $145 / day
Retired Teacher Substitute: $175 / day
Long-Term Substitute Teacher (25 days or longer): $ 185 / day
Long-Term Substitute (one semester or longer) - Step 1 PVTA Contract

CLOSING DATE OF APPLICATION: December 19, 2025

ANTICIPATED START DATE: January 5, 2026

DUTIES: Grade and maintain records of student performance. Think creatively, make good

decisions, and communicate effectively with others. Work collaboratively with all teachers within

the building and/or district. Prepare materials for lessons. Perform required duties throughout the

school day. Take direction and work as part of a team. Other duties as specified.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess or be eligible for NYS Certified Chemistry Teacher
