A quick look at this new ABC job…
Located at: N Foothills Hwy and St Vrain Rd
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 4 day work week. Fridays are set at 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Thursdays are 2 pm - 9/10 pm but 2 other days of the nanny's choosing will also be 8:30 - 4:30. Nanny can choose to take either MTW off. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week, with flexibility to go to 34 hours. One weekend shift a month is also needed.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: May 21st

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 9, 5 and 3 years old.
About the Children:
The family's oldest is in 3rd grade. He loves dinosaurs, sports, and his younger siblings.
The middle child is in pre-k and she is very girly and loves princesses but is also athletic and tough enough to keep up with her brothers.
The family's youngest is funny, sweet, and on the move.
About the Family:
Mom and Dad both work full-time with hybrid schedules and will be in and out of the home.
About the Pets:
This family has one indoor cat and a sweet English Cream Golden - all candidates must be pet-friendly.
Additional Notes:
This family has had great nannies in the past. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...
Standard Duties:
Responsibilities will include helping with homework, preparing simple meals for the children, tidying up after daily activities, and driving the children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
Their family schedule can vary, as mom is a luxury real estate agent and dad is a custom home builder, so flexibility is important.
Travel Requirements:
The ability to travel is required for the position, with advanced notice. The family will be going to Idaho and Mexico during the summer. Dates will be presented at a later date.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience caring for three children at one time is very important.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of childhood development and recognizes that children’s needs and behaviors evolve as they grow.
They value someone who is loving, patient, and empathetic, while also able to help nurture appropriate boundaries, structure, and responsibility for the children in a positive and supportive way.
Compensation And Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an compensation of $10,800 - $12,600 for the 3-months (gross).

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
