Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to support warehouse and logistics operations in Dubai. This role focuses on implementing loss prevention measures, identifying operational risks, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies to protect people, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Loss Prevention & Security Operations

• Support the implementation and maintenance of warehouse and logistics security procedures in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Assist in enforcing security controls across facilities to prevent theft, damage, and operational losses.

Risk Identification & Monitoring

• Identify safety and security risks within warehouse operations, including access control, cargo handling, and storage areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and support risk assessments, ensuring identified issues are tracked and resolved.

Incident Response & Investigations

• Support investigations into incidents such as cargo loss, damage, theft, misdelivery, false claims, or return fraud.
• Assist with evidence collection, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders during investigations.
• Escalate serious incidents in line with company procedures.

Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in the execution of emergency response plans and participate in drills such as fire response and operational emergencies.
• Support emergency response activities during incidents to minimise operational disruption.

Personnel & Asset Protection

• Support daily warehouse security activities, including patrols and access control checks.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure security measures align with business needs.

Compliance & Coordination

• Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local legal requirements.
• Liaise with outsourced security teams to ensure adherence to operational and behavioural standards.
• Assist in communication with external stakeholders such as security service providers and local authorities when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency i n English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Experience in loss prevention, security operations, risk management, or investigations .
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, retail, e-commerce, or warehousing environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks and irregularities.

Good communication and reporting skills.
