Job Summary:

Country Boy Brewing is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to drive sales and distribution of our craft beers throughout Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a deep passion for craft beer, strong sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts. This role will focus on expanding our market presence, promoting our brand, and ensuring exceptional customer service while representing Country Boy Brewing’s values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Distribution Growth: Generate new sales by identifying and acquiring new accounts, including bars, restaurants, retail stores, and other on- and off-premiselocations. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. • Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring consistent communication, product availability, and customer satisfaction. Forecast demand and coordinate with distributors to maintain inventory levels. • Brand Promotion: Represent Country Boy Brewing at festivals, tastings, beer dinners, and industry events. Conduct product demonstrations and deliver engaging sales presentations to promote our beers and brand story. • Market Insight: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development. Collaborate with the brewery team to align on market needs and opportunities. • Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for distributors and retailers, addressing delivery issues, product quality concerns, or other technical matters to ensure seamless operations. • Event Support: Plan and staff brewery-sponsored events, such as tap takeovers or festivals, ensuring a positive brand experience. Coordinate tap line cleaning and other logistical needs for new accounts.• Reporting: Track daily sales activities, provide weekly performance reports, and maintain accurate records to support sales goals and brewery objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage or craft beer industry. Experience working with distributors and retailers is a plus. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of craft beer, brewing processes, and the Kentucky beer market. Ability to discuss beer styles, ingredients, and pairing with confidence. • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., kegs), stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. • Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events or account visits as needed. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered. • Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain any necessary alcohol service or sales certifications required by Kentucky state law.
