Loving and Experienced Full Time Infant Nanny Needed

A sweet family in Melrose is seeking a warm, experienced full-time nanny to care for their baby girl, due early March. This long-term, live-out position will begin in late May 2026 and is ideal for someone with prior infant and toddler experience who is excited to watch a baby grow. The right candidate will enjoy thoughtfully planning age-appropriate activities, supporting developmental milestones, and creating a loving, engaging environment. Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• CPR and First Aid certified
• TDAP, Flu & Covid vaccines required
• Valid driver’s license & Clean Driving Record
• Experience with infants and young toddlers

Responsibilities

• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, reading, singing, etc.)
• Manage diapering and clothing changes
• Support healthy sleep routines
• Provide bottle feedings
• Eventually prepare solid foods as developmentally appropriate
• Drive to local appointments, activities, or run child-related errands
• Maintain a nurturing, safe, and responsive environment
• Light tidying related to the child
• Handle the baby’s laundry
• Wash and sanitize bottles, pacifiers, and feeding items
• Help manage baby-related inventory and supplies

About the FamilyThis is a collaborative household where teamwork and communication are valued. Mom works from home and plans to breastfeed, so she will occasionally pop in during the day. The family is seeking a nanny who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team — someone self-sufficient, yet communicative and open to collaboration. They are looking for a caregiver who is punctual, detail-oriented, adaptable, and loving. The ideal candidate brings a calm, caring presence while confidently managing the day-to-day needs of an infant.While no travel is required, the family may consider having the nanny join them for travel in the future; this would be optional and discussed in advance.

Position Details

Start Date: May 25, 2026 (with some flexibility)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Occasional evenings or weekends appreciated with plenty of notice
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, BOEBenefits:

• 2 weeks paid vacation (one week nanny’s choice)
