Loving Nanny/Family Assistant with ABA Background NEEDED in Sunnyvale, CA

This busy family is looking for someone to come and help keep their lives running smoothly. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a nanny, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and structured environment to promote the well-being and development of children with ASD. Responsibilities include engaging children in age-appropriate activities, implementing behavioral strategies, and fostering social skills development.

The job also includes light housekeeping and organization, help with pick-ups from school, laundry, light housekeeping, some outdoor activities with their son, meal prep, and making sure they get their work done.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder

- Knowledge of autism-specific behavioral interventions and strategies

- With ABA experience

- Ability to adapt caregiving techniques to meet the individual needs of each child

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with parents and other professionals

- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

- Background in special education or related field (preferred)
