Join us as a Produce Clerk!

We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work as a Produce Clerk at our Ambler location. This position is low-time with an anticipated 8-19 hours per week. Availability on Saturdays and evenings is required. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great customer service, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy.
• Stock, rotate, and cull produce as necessary
• Maintaining back-stock areas according to department standards.
• Maintaining produce displays
• Assist other clerks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Other duties as assigned by department head.
• Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations.
• Wears protective clothing as required for position.
• Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools.

Requirements:

• Availability on Saturdays and during the evenings.
• Commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op.
• Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication and people skills.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to remain standing for extended periods of time.
• Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
