Low Voltage Technician/Data Entry/Home Automation Installer/AV Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including telecommunications and electrical experience. This role involves working in the field to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various low voltage systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The technician will utilize hand tools and software troubleshooting skills to address issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage systems, including cabling for telecommunications and security camera systems.
• Conduct field service operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues with low-voltage equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in the installation of equipment and components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Document service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience in low-voltage installations, particularly in telecommunications, surveillance camera installations, home automation, A/V installations, or repairs, or related fields.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and troubleshooting software for computer hardware issues is important. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work independently in a field service environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
