Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lowboy Heavy Haul Transport Driver to operate specialized tractor-trailers for the safe and efficient transportation of oversized and heavy loads. This role requires a professional with a strong background in commercial driving, route planning, and load securement. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements and demonstrate excellent driving skills across various types of freight, including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse routes and cargo, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations.

Monday - Friday 6AM - 6PM
Paid Training 6AM - 6PM
Responsibilities
- Safely operate lowboy trailers and tractor-trailers for heavy haul transport across designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, following all safety protocols.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while complying with federal and state transportation laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all systems are functional and compliant.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered during transit.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety standards, including proper handling of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment.
Requirements
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailer operation; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- NO Felonies

- Proven experience in truck driving, including freight delivery, route driving, and heavy haul transport.
- Familiarity with various trailer types such as flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Experience with load securement techniques specific to heavy haul loads on lowboy trailers.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy haul operations.
- Strong navigation skills for route planning across different terrains and regions.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts when required for loading/unloading cargo.
