Position Summary

The Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides high-quality outpatient psychotherapy to a caseload of children, adolescents, adults, and/or couples. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who is confident in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, and who desires to work in a supportive, collaborative private practice environment that values both clinical excellence and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy using evidence-based and integrative approaches
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation
• Provide crisis assessment and appropriate referrals when needed

Client Care & Experience

• Build strong therapeutic alliances characterized by warmth, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
• Provide compassionate, ethical, and effective care aligned with LiveWell’s mission and values
• Participate in case consultation and collaboration with the clinical team

Professional & Practice Standards

• Maintain active LPC licensure and adhere to all ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards
• Complete continuing education and remain current with best practices

• Anxiety and mood disorders
• Trauma and attachment
• Marriage and couples counseling
• Adolescents and family systems
• Faith-integrated therapy (when clinically appropriate and client-desired)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited program
• Fully licensed as an LPC in the state of practice
• Minimum of 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience
• Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Experience working in private practice settings preferred
