LPC or PLPC hybrid mental health counselor for Private Practce

We are a mental health agency with a passion to provide affordable care throughout Louisiana. Along with hiring private practice contractors, Heal Your Life provides space for internships and clinical supervision to counselors, engages in school relationships through educational consulting, works alongside community leaders to assess community needs and provide support, implements group therapy throughout the state, organizes psychoeducation workshops targeted towards community needs, and plans motivational speaking engagements.

Our professional organization is looking for LPCs to provide individual counseling to in an office and/or virtual setting. You’ll work as part of an in-house team that offers our employees guidance and resources, flexible schedules, and competitive pay. Employees are encouraged to set their own schedules to reflect the type of clientele they wish to see.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate clients needs and create treatment plans
• Help individuals with the resources needed to reach personal goals
• Monitor client progress and adjust their treatment plan as needed
• Maintain required state certification for the counseling position

Requirements:

• current LPC or PLPC status (if this is PLPC's first position, we will work through the paperwork for licensing)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to empathize with clients
• Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor client progress
