LPG pipe line Welder

Job Summary:

The LPG Pipeline Welder Technician is responsible for welding, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) pipelines and associated fittings. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, welding procedures, and gas regulations to ensure leak-free, reliable, and compliant LPG piping systems.

Key Responsibilities Pipeline Welding & Installation

• Perform welding of LPG pipelines using approved welding processes (GTAW/TIG, SMAW/ARC, MIG as applicable).
• Install LPG pipelines, fittings, valves, regulators, supports, and accessories according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Carry out pipe cutting, beveling, alignment, fit-up, and tack welding.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow LPG safety procedures, hot-work permits, and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local gas authority regulations, international standards (ASME, API, ISO), and company safety policies.
• Conduct pre-weld and post-weld safety checks to prevent gas leaks or fire hazards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical certificate or trade qualification in welding or pipe fitting
• Certified welder for LPG or gas pipelines (preferred)
• Proven experience in LPG, natural gas, or pressure piping welding
• Strong understanding of LPG safety practices and gas handling
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and outdoor environments
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience
