LPG Road Tanker Attendant
The LPG Road Tanker Attendant supports tanker operations by ensuring the safe handling, transfer, and delivery of bulk LPG to customer locations. The role focuses on safety, coordination, and operational support throughout the loading and discharge process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the tanker driver by conducting routine safety and condition checks on the road tanker before departure and during operations.
- Coordinate with customers prior to delivery to confirm safe access and proper parking arrangements at the delivery site.
- Assist the tanker operator during LPG loading and offloading activities to ensure smooth and safe product transfer.
- Closely observe filling operations and continuously monitor safety conditions throughout the process.
- Verify available storage capacity at customer sites before transfer to prevent overfilling.
- Prepare and connect transfer hoses and fittings, confirm delivery quantities, and perform safety checks before commencing LPG transfer.
- Participate in emergency response actions when required and follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area, equipment, and tanker surroundings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education (12 years) or equivalent is preferred.
- Physically capable of performing manual and industrial fieldwork.
Minimum Experience:
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in LPG handling, petroleum operations, or a similar industrial environment.
Training / Certification:
- Basic firefighting certification
- First aid training
