PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The purpose of the Clinical Lead position at assigned location is to perform a wide variety of nursing and supervisory functions: leadership role in the office overseeing both clinical and office staff.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Duty 1: Manage daily assignments of the staff assuring that patient and provider needs are met.
Duty 2: Directs support staff in daily care, maintenance and monitoring of supplies, instruments and equipment utilized within the department
Duty 3: Provide on-going supervision to office staff and patients/customers.
Duty 4: Ensures that all requirements of governmental agencies and regulating bodies are met.
Duty 5: Serves on committees as appointed. Completes all required reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Duty 6: Promotes service-oriented philosophy in all interactions with the patients, families, association associates/staff, medical professionals, visitors and general public.
Duty 7: Encourages communication and professional service to all customers, responds to associate problems, complaints, and suggestion in a responsive and professional manner. Reports all incidents to department supervisor/manager for further review.
Duty 8: Adheres to policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as they pertain to department and/or regulatory agencies, including making sure all controls are done.
Duty 9: Performs related duties in assisting others as needed with assignments as necessary for the smooth operation of the assigned department(s).
Duty 10: Presents service excellence indicators and assists with the education of service oriented practices to help reach the hospitals/department goals.
Duty 11: Works with office coordinator to manage a working relationship between secretarial staff and nursing staff.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and standing. The associate will be required to walk for up to one hour a day, stand for five hours a day and sit for two hours. The individual must be able to lift twenty pounds and reach work above the shoulders. The individual must have good eye-hand coordination and fine finger dexterity to operate machines. The individual must have excellent verbal communication skills to communicate with patients, providers, and co-workers. The associate must have vision corrected and hearing in the normal range.
This position is classified “at risk” for possible occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens (HBV, HIV, etc.)
