LPN or Medical Assistant

In-Home Caregiver – Licensed Professional Nurse or Medical Assistant
Pay: $16/hour | Paid through Medicaid Waiver funds

Job Description:
Seeking a Licensed Professional Nurse or medical CNA or CMA with one year experience to provide in-home care for an individual with high medical needs on hospice and whose speech is difficult to understand.

Schedule:

3-11 pm

Responsibilities:

• Medication
• Blood sugar checks/Change insulin pump
• Ostomy care (including draining)
• Medication Administration
• Assistance with Hoyer and ceiling lift transfers
• Light patient-related housekeeping (laundry, preparing/feeding snacks)
• Bathing/Feeding/ADL's and IADL's
• Pet care
• Documentation

Requirements:

• Active license/certification
• Experience with high medical needs preferred (must have one year experience with people who have difficulty speaking and being understood)
• Comfortable around pets (2 dogs, 1 cat)
• Reliable and compassionate
• Patient

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
