LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) – 13 Week Contract | 2787401

Location: Newark, NJ

A Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) near Newark, NJ is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for nurses with LTAC, ICU, or critical care experience who are comfortable managing medically complex, chronically ill, and post-ICU patients.

Local and travel RNs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended acute care
• Manage complex patients including ventilator support, IV drips, and post-ICU recovery cases
• Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery goals

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact license required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent RN experience in LTAC, ICU, or CCU required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical care skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-acuity environments

Required Certifications

• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day and Night shifts available
• Employment Type: Contract (not per diem)
