Role Summary
The LTL Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining order accuracy, operational integrity, and seamless fulfilment across all sales channels. This role is responsible for preventing fraudulent or duplicate orders prior to dispatch, managing manual and exception-based orders, maintaining accurate backorder records, and serving as an escalation point for complex order issues.
The position also supports system monitoring, integration troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement to reduce operational risk and improve automation across logistics and fulfilment operations.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and prevent fraudulent, duplicate, or invalid orders prior to warehouse dispatch
Maintain fraud cancellation accuracy targets and uphold order integrity standards
Manually create and process sample, partner, and special-request orders not connected via EDI
Track and maintain real-time backorder records and coordinate resolution with Inventory and Procurement teams
Serve as an escalation point for complex order issues from Customer Service and Logistics teams
Monitor order integration feeds across all sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, etc.)
Troubleshoot and resolve order system discrepancies, failures, or sync issues
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and operational errors

Comfortable operating in high-volume, high-complexity ecommerce environments with multiple sales channels and warehouse partners
Detail-oriented, analytical, and operationally grounded—you balance data analysis with real-world logistics execution
A strong communicator who collaborates effectively across Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, and Technology teams
Proactive and calm under pressure, able to anticipate issues and manage escalations efficiently
- Experienced in ecommerce order management, system integrations, and exception handling
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field (preferred)
2–4+ years of experience in ecommerce operations, order management, or logistics
Hands-on experience with fraud prevention, manual order processing, and exception handling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evening/night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours

- Business Intelligence: Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio
- Core Operations: Google Workspace (advanced Excel/Sheets skills required), Slack, Notion
- 3PL / WMS / Integrations: Partner portals, EDI connections, fulfilment platforms

99.9%+ of fraudulent orders cancelled prior to shipment
100% accuracy in manual order creation and backorder tracking
10% improvement in backorder clearance within defined timelines
Zero unresolved critical order integration failures beyond SLA (24 hours)
- Positive quarterly feedback from Customer Service and Logistics teams

External: Vendors, Retailers, Shipping Carriers, Third-Party Fulfilment Partners
Accountability & Rhythm
- Daily: Review order dashboards, integration health, fraud flags, and urgent fulfilment issues
- Weekly: Report order integrity KPIs and operational issues to leadership
- Monthly: Review fulfilment and order flow performance with cross-functional teams
- Quarterly: Support planning for seasonal peaks and operational scale
