Lubrication Technician – Job Summary (QatarEnergy Sites)

Primary Purpose

• Perform skilled lubrication activities for rotary equipment at refinery, chemical plant, Berth 4 & 6, BSV3, Station C1, and HIA.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective lubrication of rotary equipment.
• Check, fill, and replace lube oil and grease in bearings, crankcases, oil consoles, etc.
• Clean and maintain lube oil systems, filters, sight glasses, hydraulic filters.
• Maintain auto-greasing and drip-feeding systems.
• Report daily lubrication activities and abnormalities.
• Handle and store lubricants properly.
• Raise work orders for lubrication-related issues.
• Coordinate oil analysis with Asset Integrity team when required.
• Monitor and analyze lubricants (including heavy grease).

Education

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Technology (recognized institution).

Experience

• Minimum 5 years as rotating equipment lubrication technician.
• +2 years as rotary technician preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of mechanical rotary equipment.
• Familiar with lubrication best practices and lubrication software.
• Completed machinery lubrication courses (preferred).
• Able to work in a multinational environment.
• Age: Not over 40 years old.
