Job Title: Hostess / Receptionist

Salary: AED 3,500 - AED 4,500 Plus FREE shared room accommodation, to and from work transportation, and 1 duty meal

Job Summary: The Hostess/Receptionist is the first and last impression of our luxury cafe. This role is crucial for establishing a welcoming, sophisticated atmosphere by managing guest flow, handling all reservations and inquiries, and ensuring every visitor receives personalized, five-star service from the moment they arrive. You are the face and voice of our premium brand.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a consistently warm, professional, and genuinely five-star welcome and farewell to all arriving and departing guests.
• Manage the reservation system and waitlist with precision, efficiently seating guests while accurately communicating expected waiting times.
• Serve as the main communication point for the cafe, answering phone calls, handling inquiries, and accurately taking reservations.
• Control the flow of guests into the dining area to ensure balanced workload distribution for servers and maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain an immaculate appearance of the reception area, entrance, and waiting lounge, ensuring all menus and promotional materials are current and presentable.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and proactively inform servers of any special occasions or requirements (e.g., allergies, VIPs).
• Handle and resolve minor guest concerns related to seating or reservations, escalating complex issues immediately to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with light administrative duties such as filing, organizing correspondence, and preparing daily reservation reports.
• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining an elegant and professional demeanor in dress code and grooming at all times.
• Manage and communicate accurate information on the cafe's offerings, promotions, and special events to inquiring guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience (1 year minimum) in a high-end hospitality, fine dining, or luxury retail environment. Must possess an impeccable, polished personal appearance and professional demeanor suitable for a luxury brand.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on phone etiquette and guest relations. Ability to proficiently use reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) and manage waiting lists efficiently.
• Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with an international clientele and management. Proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous for serving local guests and enhancing overall service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
