Job Title: Luxury Cafe Senior Waiter

Salary: AED 2,300 to AED 2,500 Plus company provided shared room accommodation, to and from work transportation, and 1 duty meal

Job Summary: The Senior Waiter is a key service expert responsible for delivering exceptional, polished table service in our luxury cafe. This role demands mastery of service standards, comprehensive menu knowledge, and the ability to drive sales through refined upselling. Beyond guest service, the Senior Waiter acts as a mentor to junior staff, ensuring the entire service team operates efficiently and maintains the cafe's premium reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver polished, advanced table service (including sequence of service) with attention to detail, exceeding luxury standards.
• Possess expert, in-depth knowledge of the full menu, including specialty coffee, gourmet ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Execute upselling techniques for high-value items, including promotions, retail offerings, and specialty beverages, to maximize revenue.
• Act as a mentor and trainer for junior service staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Proactively conduct table maintenance and check-backs, anticipating guest needs before being asked.
• Ensure accurate order taking (via POS), proper delivery, and efficient payment processing and cash handling procedures.
• Handle minor guest service recovery issues independently and professionally, escalating complex matters promptly to the supervisor.
• Assist the supervisor with section management, including delegation of tasks, stock rotation, and station setup/breakdown.
• Adhere strictly to all Saudi health, hygiene, and HACCP standards throughout the service area.
• Ensure complete knowledge of allergen information and accurately communicate preparation changes to the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of continuous experience as a Waiter, with at least 1 year in a senior or head waiter role within a high-end restaurant, fine dining, or luxury hotel F&B setting.
• Exceptional command of the sequence of service and advanced knowledge of specialty coffee, beverage pairings, and service etiquette. Proven mentorship and leadership skills are essential.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems and order management. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is a distinct advantage for effective guest interaction in Riyadh.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
