LV Switchgear Technician

We are looking for a skilled LV Switchgear Technician to install, test, operate, and maintain low-voltage electrical switchgear systems. The role is critical in ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power distribution across facilities and projects while complying with electrical safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, assemble, and commission LV switchgear panels.
• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of LV panels
• Identify faults and carry out corrective repairs on breakers, relays, contactors, and busbars
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and local authority regulations
• Conduct testing (insulation resistance, continuity, functional tests)
• Maintain maintenance logs, test reports, and as-built documentation

Required Qualifications :

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with LV switchgear systems
• Strong knowledge of LV components
• Ability to work independently and under site conditions
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
