Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions professional to support our growth strategy through strategic acquisitions. The role will involve market research, target identification, financial analysis, report preparation, and assisting leadership in evaluating and proposing acquisition opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market and industry research to identify potential acquisition targets aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Evaluate what businesses/companies can be acquired, considering market positioning, growth potential, synergies, and competitive landscape.
- Perform financial analysis and valuation (P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, ratios, and forecasting).
- Analyze financial statements, due diligence reports, and business performance metrics to assess feasibility and risks.
- Prepare investment notes, feasibility studies, and detailed reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Assist in structuring acquisition proposals and presenting insights and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Strategy) and external advisors (consultants, bankers, auditors).
- Support end-to-end M&A transactions, from initial screening to management approvals.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of M&A processes, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent market research and analytical skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial reports and data.
- Proficiency in report making, presentations, and management-level documentation.
- Strong communication skills to support proposal discussions with leadership.
- High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate strategy, consulting, or PE/VC.
- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in handling live transactions or acquisition proposals is a strong advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
