M&A Attorney

A respected mid-sized law firm with offices in New York and New Jersey is seeking an experienced Corporate/M&A Attorney to join their team. This is a fully remote position , offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on sophisticated business and transactional matters for a diverse client base.

The firm represents a wide range of clients, including privately held businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs, across industries such as technology, healthcare, real estate, and manufacturing. They pride themselves on their collaborative environment and strong commitment to client service.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other complex business transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transactional documents, including purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and related corporate governance materials.
• Conduct due diligence and assist in transaction structuring and closing processes.
• Provide general corporate counsel and ongoing support to business clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in New York and/or New Jersey required.
• 4+ years of experience handling corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 - $300,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
