Job Summary: The Machine Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and improvement of the machinery and equipment used in the mobile phone assembly process. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance of the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

• Design and develop machinery and equipment required for mobile phone assembly.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.

Installation and Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Ensure that all equipment is installed according to specifications and operates correctly.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues with machinery to minimize downtime.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and quality.
• Implement changes to machinery and processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of equipment specifications, maintenance activities, and performance metrics.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance and recommend improvements.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with production, quality control, and other engineering teams to support manufacturing goals.
• Provide technical support and training to machine operators and other staff as needed.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a mobile phone or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems used in assembly lines.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
