Job Title: Machine Mechanic / Technician – Paper Cup & Paper Bowl Machines

Department: Production / Maintenance
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Machine Mechanic / Technician is responsible for changing molds, setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of paper cup and paper bowl machines. The role includes preventive maintenance, machine adjustments, and ensuring production efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Change molds for paper cup and paper bowl machines as per production requirements.
• Install, align, and adjust machine molds and spare parts properly.
• Perform machine setup and calibration before production starts.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during operation.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently with minimum downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Replace damaged or worn-out machine parts when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools and work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
• Assist production operators during machine adjustments and testing.
• Keep records of maintenance, repairs, and mold changes performed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in paper cup/paper bowl machine maintenance or similar manufacturing machines.
• Knowledge of mold changing, machine adjustment, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical problems.
• Familiarity with production and quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
