Reports To Machine Assembly Supervisor

Job Overview

Work in an air-conditioned atmosphere. Assemble mechanical parts/assemblies per TRAK Machine Tools specifications of quality and time standards. Evaluate returned TRAK machines, troubleshoot TRAK machines, and help Engineering with projects. Standard maintenance of all TRAK machines. Should have good time management skills, be well organized, and possess strong verbal communication skills. Have the ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds. Possess good dexterity in hands. Knowledge in tools, hardware, measurement equipment, the ability to read and understand blueprints, and schematics are a plus.

Requirements

• Assemble complex parts and assemblies per specifications on blueprints
• Assemble complex parts per TRAK Machine Tools time standards
• Maintain Southwestern Industries quality standards of assemblies
• Basic operation of all TRAK Machines and accessories
• Standard maintenance of all TRAK machines
• Notify work cell leader of parts shortages and other potential problems
• Work with the supervisor to implement ways to improve processes

Education

• A.S. degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent is a plus.
• Military training in mechanical work is accepted in lieu of degree.
